This project is a Flash interactive that I produced, designed and built for my graduate project for the visual and interactive communication (VIC) program in the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
The purpose of this project was to take a state government program, the West Virginia Governor's Guaranteed Workforce Training Award, and create a web presence that allows users to have access to relevant information, as well as communicate, collaborate and network with those who use and operate the program.
The centerpiece of this web presence is a multimedia Flash interactive that contains information including a description of the program, eligibility requirements and program statistics. The centerpiece of the interactive is a section featuring multimedia stories in which entrepreneurs talk about their business and how the program helped to make them stronger. The audio slide shows use photography, audio, video, graphics and strong design to illustrate the strengths of the program and hopefully will inspire viewers to repeat that success.
